1760-1790, Having 3 train fuse movement with cable (not original), movement signed “Earley Norton, London.” Nested 8 bells for quarter hour strike, large bell hour strike, large heavy plates. Case is black lacquer w/ cast brass trim and side panels and finials. Brass oriental male figure on top, white porcelain dial w/calendar hand and cast brass trim around dial. Bad repair of bell hammers, movement not running. 31″h, 12 1/2″w, 9″d.
