Geo. III brass dial grandfather clock, having brass 2-weight mvt. with bell strike and calendar. The arched brass 12″ dial with matt finished center, seconds dial, square calendar aperture, “strike – silent” dial in arch and cast brass spandrels, is signed at bottom “James Mundy,London”. The movement appears to be intact but the mahogany case is in “as found” condition with parts of the door broken and one piece of moulding missing, the trunk seperated from the base, feet missing, crack in glass and finials missing from hood. Old pendulum and set of weights are present. 1780. 84″H x 9.5″ x 18.5″.
