Ansonia Porcelain-Mounted Gilt-Spelter Mantel Clock, fourth quarter 19th century, in the Louis XV style, the facade with a shaped porcelain plaque with a galants couple, the ivory enamel dial with the Ansonia “A” within a lozenge, with a beveled glass cover, h. 14-1/2″, w. 8-1/4″, d. 6″.

Condition report

Ansonia Porcelain-Mounted Gilt-Spelter Mantel Clock: In good condition. No sign of any damage or losses. Some wear to the gilded surface and darkening towards the top. The porcelain dial is fine as well as the painted plaque. Winding key and pendulum are present.
