Ansonia Brass and Beveled Glass Mantel Clock, fourth quarter 19th century, of large scale in the neoclassical taste, the ivory enamel dial signed with the lozenge-framed Ansonia “A” in black, the brass finish a combination of bright and matte gilding, h. 15-1/2″, w. 8-3/4″, d. 6-3/4″.
Condition report
Ansonia Brass and Beveled Glass Mantel Clock: In good overall condition. The porcelain dial shows no cracks or damage. Some light discoloration which may clean up. Some surface scratches to the front columns. The ornate pendulum is present; no winding key.
