The clock surmounted by a putto holding a garland, on a globular clock base framed with a scrolling ribbon and flanked by lion heads holding loose rings, and a seated putto on each side leaning on the socle stem and square base underneath, and sharing a long garland, the middle decorated with a coat of arms with lions head, all on an oval plinth raised by six petal supports. The clock signed “Richmond” and “B Monmartre.” L: 18 in.(45.8cm) x H: 28 in.(71cm).
