Napoleon III Embossed Gilt-Brass and Ebonized Wood Wall Clock, in the neoclassical taste, third quarter 19th century, modeled as an ebonized wood shadowbox enframing an embossed gilt-brass surround centered by a displayed eagle between two vases of flowers, the dial of white enamel with black Roman chapters and cut-steel hands, retains the pair of period cast-iron weights, h. 11-3/4″, w. 10″, d. 5″.
