French Embossed Tole and Brass Morbier Wall Clock, third quarter 19th century, of large size, retains the long embossed gilt-brass pendulum in the neoclassical taste and the period weights, the circular dial enameled in white with black Roman chapters, h. 52″, w. 12″, d. 7-1/4″.
Condition report
French Embossed Tole and Brass Morbier Wall Clock: In “as found” condition. The embossed frame around the face is bent in areas. Most of the gilding gone. The porcelain dial has a large chunk gone at the numeral III. No winding key . Weights and pendulums are present.
