Fanciful European mantle clock. Hand painted are a gent and his lady and sail boats on the front, swallows in flight above tall trees and waterways with castles or bridges on either side. The back has a butterfly with flowers. Height is 15 1/2 inches, the width is 9 inches. Marked with a conjoined “FA” above a V beneath the base. Porcelain dial has blue Arabic numbers and outer seconds in black. Key and a pendulum which is to long accompanies.
