early 19th century, Plymouth, Connecticut, retains its original interior paper label, two-train movement, wooden dial with polychrome eagle, floral spandrels, mahogany veneer case with brass finials, the reverse painted glass tablet depicting Mt. Vernon.

A small scratch on the dial resulting in paint loss; several small splits to the veneer; old repair to the central finial’s base; the reverse painting intact.
