Aesthetic Movement mantel clock probably designed by Lewis Day for Howell and James in the Queen Anne style, ca. 1880, with an ebonized case with turned columns and gilded etched details, its porcelain face painted with a stylized sunflower in blue and indigo. Wear to molding corners, burn mark to side of top. Face painted Elkington Liverpool. 19″ x 13 1/2″ x 8 1/2″.
