A French (Napoleon III) Gilt,- Bronze Mantel Clock Period (c1860). The mechanism is: cleaned,-in perfect working order,- orginaly restored and stamped: Japy Freres & Cie, Gde Med D’ Honneur. The 8-day movement with outside counterwheel striking on a bronze bell and chimes every full and half hour. The case surmounted with champleve (hand painted porcelain).
