Has fancy blued hands, silvered dial overlaid with gilt pierced filigree, decorated chapter ring with applied gilt Arabic numerals, silvered sub seconds bit and Strike/Silent lever to the left, moon phase dials and sub dials for Chime/Silent and Whittington/Westminster; signed Elliott London. Top quality time and strike brass movement, 9 tube, Grahams deadbeat escapement; quarter hour strike and chime from a quality cylinder mechanism. Movement signed “J.J. Elliot London – 5449”; quality brass pulleys, weights and pendulum bob. In a fine mahogany case with a broken arch crest with spun brass finials and turned columns with brass capitols on the bonnet, beveled door glass with fluted quarter columns and a large base with carved claw feet.
