A RESTAURATION GILT BRONZE FIGURAL MANTLE CLOCK, CIRCA 1840, the circular dial tightly cast with blossoming rose vine within black Roman chapters and enclosed by a rectangular case having a grape cluster and vine filled basket details surmounted by a scrolled boars head cornucopia flanked by a frieze of Bacchus holding a wine glass and cluster of grapes opposite a twist fluted column adorned with a tambourine on a conforming plinth of Bacchic icon details raised on floral basket modeled block feet.
