Fine polished gilt brass case has an arched top panel with beveled glass, stands on 4 turned feet; the reticulated front panel is decorated and centered with and enameled oval portrait of a French woman. 3 in. Enameled dial with black Arabic numbers and quarter hour markers with colorful garland decoration inside; round French brass time and strike movement, strikes on a single coiled gong, marked “Made in France” with an A1 in an oval. 11.5 in. x 7 in. x 4.5 in.
