An ormolu and bronze mystery clock: French circa 1845, 4I-inch glass dial with arrow hour hand, bell striking silk suspension movement No.81 signed I.B.Mullat A Paris, Savory et Fils A Paris with no visible connection to the hand, the dial supported by addorsed gryphons resting on a waisted plinth applied with a putto amongst leaf scrolls at the front and raised on reeded scroll feet with a shell apron; with a later velvet covered mahogany plinth (2)
