Paul Garnier, Paris, a brass carriage clock circa 1840, the typical glazed case with sliding front panel, the silvered machine turned dial with panel below, the bell striking twin barrel movement marked ‘Paul, Garnier / Her Du Roi Paris’, the chaff-cutter escapement with 3 arm gold balance wheel with regulation lever above, wood infill to the underside, 12.5cm high, in a pretty leather covered gilt lined case with brass handle and side catches, and silhouette inset key to the base

Name now lacking to panel on dial, some wear to numerals; glass panels intact; wood infill to base, pretty case with splits and some wear.
