A French lacquered brass carriage clock, circa 1890, by Henri Jacot, the white dial with ring of Roman numerals, striking on a coiled gong, marked on the back ‘Paris.H.J. No.11542’, the loop handle over an oval bevelled glass inspection glass, over four bevelled glass sides with line moulded corners on a cut-out plinth base, 7″ high, in original leather covered plush lined carry case with strap handle, monogrammed ‘J.W.B. March 1896’
