A French lacquered brass repeating carriage clock, early 20th century, the 2″ ring of Arabic numerals within black lined white disks and a cream ground (hairline crack to the corner of the face), the bevelled four glass case with geometrically moulded swing handle above, the movement striking on a coiled gong, the back plate stamped ‘5047’, the enclosed base also stamped ‘5047’, 16 cm high in its original blue leather bound hinged lid plush lined box with sliding front
