A 19th century American Banjo wall clock. Weight driven time only movement with T Bridge suspension, case and finish original. Mahogany case with painted dial, tapered neck with eglomise panel and Brass arms above a lower door with eglomise “Aurora Scene”. Former Collection of Patrick Meanix, catalogued by Chipman Ela. In running order. Three older paper repairer’s labels inside dated 1871, 1900 and 1908. Case polished some wear, dial repainted by Burt Dial, replaced waist glass and lower glass stabilized by Tom Moberg, replaced finial. 33″ high. ESTIMATE $800-1,200
