Vienna wall regulator clock No.313, double weight driven, reproduction. 53″h.x16″w.
Condition report
As many clocks as we have taken apart and looked at, we cannot get the face off/apart to get to the movement so no marks or signatures available, if any. Based on the photos and our initial and follow-up inspections, it is either a reproduction or has been cleaned and restored so heavily, it looks like one. Also, the metal pieces on the face, movement, lock and escutcheon look awfully bright. There is an area of alligatoring to the edge of the door opening, but again, looks awfully deliberate. Cannot say how old it may be.
