Two Terry Wall Clocks, Iron Case & Marine Octagons, 1st the iron case with original paper over tin dial with stamped brass surround and bezel, Roman on chapter ring, outer minute ring marked with ticks, every 5 minutes bold, 8-dat time-only spring driven movement stamped Patented Oct. 5th 1852, interior printed paper label on dark blue polished paper with gold lettering reading The/Terry Clock Company/Waterbury, Connecticut, Manufacturers of/Plain and Ornamental One And Eight Day Clocks with directions below, mounted in an octagonal top cast iron case with drop having iron door with original floral transfer printed tablet and cove moulded base, 3.25″ x 9.5″ x 18.75″ high, AND painted tin dial with stamped brass bezel, Roman on chapter ring, outer minute ring marked with ticks, every 5 minutes bold, 8-day brass time-only movement stamped movement stamped The Terry Clock Co./Waterbury, Conn./Patid Dec. 1 1868, original printed paper label on back reading Eight Day And Thirty Hour/Marine Clocks,/And/Time Pieces/Warranted/Superior to any thing even offered to the public/Manufactured By/Terryville Manufacturing Company,/Terryville, Conn., U.S.A./Patented By/S.B. Terry, October 5th, 1852., octagonal case in rosewood veneer, 3″ x 8.75″.

Condition report

1st with toned and somewhat worn dial, some flaking paint on tablet, case in black repaint, currently running; 2nd slight chipping of paint on dial, old refinishing, not currently running. We do not guarantee working order of clocks.
