EDITION 335/1000, BRASS & METAL WALL CLOCK, C1957:Single minute hand revolves around 4-hour face with roman numerals depicting the hour of the day, spiraling toward the center starting with the numeral one at the three o’clock position and spiraling inward until eleven which is positioned at nine o’clock position left of center. Twelve is in its normal position on the outside at the top. A smaller second hand and dial is above the clock face. The Bi-Centennial limited edition of 1000 clocks were built by Thwaites & Reed Ltd. (founded in 1740) who originally built Ben Franklin’s 1757 clock. They used his original design in reproducing this clock. Clock measures 16″ H. x 7″ W. Includes weights and is mounted to mahogany wall bracket.
