SETH THOMAS “OFFICE NO. 2” WALL CLOCK, Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Connecticut, c. 1885. The schoolhouse style wall clock has an octagonal/short drop mahogany case with brass button application and lower circular painted glass pendulum door; the spring wound, 8-day, time & strike movement complete with pendulum and key. Case length – 26.25 inches.

Condition report

31: May have been refinished long ago. Inside label present and in good condition. Dial is paper; likely a replacement. Left edge of octagon as a 3 inch long split-off piece of wood missing, but restained and sealed. (About 1/8 inch deep). Presently in good running condition with key and pendulum present. Sold as-is, no warranty.
