Samuel Wainwright English Hanging Wall Clock, driven by 2 weights, has a dead beat escapement and a second and calendar dial incorporated into the engraved metal face of the main dial. The dial is signed and numbered 3013. The removable hood is veneered and inlaid with swirling scroll work. The top of the face plate is engraved with an eagle and Latin inscription “Tempus Fugit”. Samuel Wainwright is from Northampton.
