Rare Chelsea 12″ Large Dial Wall Clock sold by Grogan Company, Pittsburgh, sold as the “Chelsea” model in both ship’s bell and non-striking clocks ca 1923-1929, and pictured in Chelsea’s Catalog K dated March 1, 1923. This example is eight-day time only, with plain silvered dial, black Arabic numerals, seconds bit at 12 o’clock, black enamel “moon” hands and fast-slow regulator. In polished bronze or “red” brass case with hinged bezel. Engraved on dial Chelsea inside seconds bit and retailer’s name GROGAN COMPANY / PITTSBURGH above 6 o’clock. Serial #111971 engraved on works and on back of flange; dial measures 12″ diameter; bezel and back flange about 14.5″ diameter; weight 25 pounds. Condition report

Dial yellowed and needs to be cleaned; hands and outside hinge screws not original. Currently running; however, we do not guarantee working order of clocks and watches.
