face marked at top “Thiteux & Bourseigne 1781”, cast gilt lead spandrels, top with finial with Atlas, flanked by two cast brass finials with angels blowing trumpets, brass works, open case below, pendulum window with ormolu mount, urn and swags, with pendulum, possibly French or Belgian, 59 x 17 x 9-1/2 in. Refinished, restoration to gilt surfaces, stage probably replaced, other parts possibly replaced, cracks, chips and losses to brass surface on window, top of bonnet possibly lacking fabric or leather.
