Signed J. Duques Nancy from France, this turtle top shaped mother of pearl clock has a really well enameled face with cobalt or navy blue numbers on crest shaped backgrounds, the black case is painted or enameled, some crazing, the condition of the mother of pearl could not be better, the interior of the clock case has been strengthened with pegboard panels, made to recess originally back in the wall and was called a picture frame clock, 25 inches tall by 19 inches wide by 6 inches deep. Circa 1870-1900
