Mahogany Mirror Wall Clock Attributed to Samuel Abbott, Montpelier, Vermont, c. 1840, with reverse-painted splat and dial-opening, stenciled half columns flanking the full-length door with looking glass, 7 3/4 in. painted iron dial with Roman numerals, and eight-day time only weight-powered movement with approximately 12 in. pendulum length, ht. 32 1/2 in. Attributed to Abbott Langley by family tradition.

Condition report

Condition: Reverse-painted splat, dial glass and looking glass are replacements, dial is repainted, period cast iron weight.No label, signature or restraining wire. Movement complete.
