Iron-Front Wall Clock by the Terry Clock Company, Waterbury, Connecticut, c. 1870, with black painted case, gilt decoration, paper on zinc dial with Roman numerals, reverse painted tablet of a rose on mustard-yellow ground, black and gold printed maker’s label inside, and eight-day time and strike movement, ht. 19 1/2 in.

Note: This clock was called the “Octagon Top Drop” model in the 1875 Terry Clock Company catalogue.
