Group of Two Wall Clocks, one a highly unusual and boldly modeled English “Tunbridge”-marquetry and rosewood wall clock, third quarter 19th century, with jig-sawn interior decorative frets, a mirrored backplate and the period mercury-weighted pendulum, h. 34″, w. 16″, d. 5″; and the other a large Gilbert Clock Company, Connecticut, pressed and carved oak “Regulator” wall clock, fourth quarter 19th century, signed at the basal edge of the circular dial, the lower door emblazoned with “Regulator” in gold eglomise, the upper door with gilt-edged black eglomise spandrels, h. 38″, w. 16″, d. 5″.
