DESCRIPTION: A Gilbert Eunomia wall clock. Eight day time and strike. Mahogany case. 8″ paper dial marked “Made in U.S.A.” with entwined “SEJ”. Brass works marked “Pat. June 3, 1879 Wm. L. Gilbert Clock Co. Winsted Conn. U.S.A.”. Amplifier coil strike marked “G.B. Owen Pat’d Oct.11 ’81 April.18 ’82” for George Owen. Tablet etched with hanging urn of flowers with decorative border. Circa 1881. MEASUREMENTS: 40″. CONDITION: Not tested. Case in fine condition with handsome patina. Dial with edge wear and wear around right winding hole. Hour hand with ding.
