French Morbier Calendar Wall Clock, enameled slightly domed dial with Arabic on chapter ring, outer minute ring marked with ticks, every 5 minutes marked with dots, inner calendar ring with Arabic, brass weight driven time, strike and date housed in stamped tin case with wrought steel base plate and wooden back, both sides are hinged doors, stamped brass tombstone dial surround with stylized floral in lower spandrels, scrolled upper spandrels and top with bust of young lady with rayed background and bowl of flowers and love birds below, matching stamped brass pendulum with sheet tin back, matching rayed bust with starred surround and harp-form shaft, case is 6.25″ x 10″ x 15.8″ high and pendulum is 11″ diameter at bottom x 42″ long, total length ca 58.8″.
Condition report
Badly in need of cleaning, but complete with original cast iron weights, not currently running.
