Forestville, Connecticut Wall Acorn Clock: with an 8 day spring driven time only movement. Sometimes referred to as a Lyre clock, circa 1849. In a mahogany veneer case. The dial and movement are both signed. The dial is metal and 5 1/2″ wide.

(The case has been restored, the dial shows its age. The door hasp in insecure.)
