carved largely of one piece of oak, several elements joined at extremities, pediment with two birds above floral bouquets and festoons, base with trophies of love, clock a model for other clocks and instruments, attributed to Eugene-Leonard Girard, French, 1842-1917, late 19th/early 20th century, 36 x 20 in.; lot accompanied by two copies of photo of clock, said to be hanging in Girard’s studio. Good condition, scattered chips, cracks, separations and losses, several bits of adhesive backing, several tack and mounting wounds.
