English D. Dickinson fusee drop dial wall clock in an oak case with carved foliate “ears” below the dial. The case fitted with a large circular painted dial with Arabic numerals signed, “D. Dickinson, Burnley”, set within a brass bezel. The heavy brass double fusee movement with anchor escapement of eight day duration and gong strike, mounted on a false plate. The brass pendulum bob visible through the drop’s lentil. The inside of the case inscribed “October 6 1875.” 24.5″H x 11.5″W x 6″D, Circa – 1872-1875.
