Early Winking Eye w/Cuckoo Wall Clock: there is a 3 1/2″ porcelain dial with a painted metal backing. Shown is a woman in royal clothing, her eyes move with the seconds. Above that is a door for the bird to emerge from. Driven by 2 weights made of lead filled wood. The movement is numbered 49 and strikes a gong. The owner suggests it is a black forest product.
(The bellows are newer. The dial is fractured. The painted interior needs cleaned.)
