DUTCH SCHOOL PAINTED WOOD WALL CLOCK, C. 1820, H 61″ (CLOCK ONLY), W 19″, D 9″:Painted red wood clock is topped with three gilt figures, two winged mythical female creatures flank the figure of Atlas on either side. The face is clad with black Roman Numerals, is marked “F. Kalver Boer Bergum (the rest is illegible) and is enhanced by the four gilt metal figures that surround it. Above the face a painting of a small village, the theme is continued on the two glass panels on each side.
