Continental Wag-on-Wall Automaton Clock, mid 19th century, the shaped face painted with florals on a cream ground, with square opening in crest revealing three male figures with clappers poised at corresponding bells, ht. 19, wd. 12 1/8 in.

Condition report

Losses to paint, not really to dished dial but heaviest lower right, lower center and upper right; two cracks to arched top; works very dirty with rusting and pitting (hasn’t seen service in a long time).
