A wonderful set of wall plaques in what appears to be recent walnut frames, manufactured by the Ansonia Clock Co., Ca. 1886, entitled “Palace and Cottage”, each depicting lovers in 18th century costume. Small bouquet of flowers in lady’s right hand missing. Reference: Ansonia Clocks by Tran Du Ly, 1998, Page 570. Outside frame dimension 18″ x 24″, plaques 10 1/2″ x 15 3/4″.
