American Wall Clock, first quarter 19th century, by Sol Jeromes and Company, Bristol, Connecticut, with an eight-day movement, double weighted, the painted face with Arabic numerals in a veneered mahogany case with a mirror beneath, h. 33″, w. 18″, d. 5-1/2″.
Condition report
American Wall Clock: In “as found” condition. A one-inch section of veneer gone to the upper front left corner. Minor loose veneer along the door frame. The finish is dry. Interior is dirty. Has a wooden movement. Winding key, weights and pendulum are present. The movement appears to be original.
