case having elaborate turned half columns, a pediment featuring a mask and topped with finials and having a bracket on bottom with drop finials. The enamel dial features Roman numerals. The highly decorative brass pendulum has a mask conforming to the pediment and a lions head. The brass spring driven time and strike movement, striking on a coiled gong and marked DRP FMS with N55006 and 53985. 29.5″H x 15.5″W x 7″D, Circa – 19th C.
