A FRENCH EBONY WALL CLOCK
France, Late Nineteenth Century
The clock enclosed in a hexagonal case behind a wavy ovoid ebony outer frame, the decorative inner frame inlaid with mother-of-pearl, walnut, and metal in a vaguely floral design, the painted alabaster face with enameled Roman chapters; with chimes and winding key; having a hanging ring on the top of the hexagonal case and a latch on the bottom.
