Waterbury #44 Double Dial Calendar Shelf Clock, painted tin dial with chromed surround, marked with overlapping WCCo., Roman on chapter ring with outer minute ring marked with ticks, every 5 minutes bold, painted tin calendar dial marked Waterbury Clock Co./U.S.A./Patented July 30th, 1889, also with chromed surround and 2 revolving drum dials at 3’oclock and 9 o’clock with left having days and right months, brass 8-day time, strike and date movement stamped Waterbury Clock Co./Pat’d Sept. 22, 1874/5 3/4 IN, walnut case with reeded door, applied turned rosettes and scroll cut crest with cove moulded base in original varnish finish with 2 printed paper labels on reverse the small on yellow stock reading in part Eight Day/Calendar Clock No. 44/Strikes Half Hour/Waterbury Clock Company/Waterbury, Conn. U.S.A… and the larger on red stock with Waterbury Clock Co. address and directions, 4.25″ x 14.4″ x 25″ high.
