Two Miniature Ogee Shelf Clocks, includes a Seth Thomas Kitchen (see Tran Duy Ly 1996; fig. 974); 8-day time and strike spring-driven brass movement with painted tin dial marked Manufactured In The United States of America/Seth Thomas with Roman numerals; door with original dial tablet and original lower reverse-painted tablet with gilt Irish Setter with oval garter surround and floral scroll spandrels on green marbled ground; case is mahogany with interior printed paper label with address of Thomaston, Conn.; 10″ wide x 3.75″ deep x 15.8″ high; AND Seth Thomas Cottage clock, 8-day time and strike, spring-driven brass movement with embossed painted tin dial with Roman numerals; door with original polychrome reverse-painted scrollwork garter on black ground; interior printed paper label with Thomaston Conn. address; mahogany case with stepped base and ogee moulded frame; 9.8″ wide x 4.5″ deep x 14.3″ high.
