Shelf clock with mahogany veneer made by Elisha Hotchkiss, Burlington, Connecticut. Having an arched crest over a two-paneled door revealing a painted and gilt dial, above a reverse painting on glass of a Georgian house, flanked by stenciled columns, and resting on hairy paw feet. Retaining label on the inside. c.1830-1840. 27 1/2″h x 17″w x 4 1/2″d.
