A half column and cornice shelf clock labeled by S. B. Terry with half columns aside a reverse painted glass below the white dial and supported by a base with ogee moldings aside a reverse painted glass. Silas B. Terry (1807- 1876) was the son of Eli Terry. Though in and out of financial trouble throughout his career, his work gained the reputation for interesting clock designsand the higher quality of finish.
