A shelf clock of late 19th century origin with an arched case, incised and with a cresting and central carved lion above a glazed and reverse painted silver glazed door signed “Boyle Bros., Boston” and flanked by reverse and up-stannding finials. Reverse is a pasted on label. The Patented calibrated pendulum is marked “Gilbert Clock Company”.
