Seth Thomas Wooden Works Half Column Shelf Clock, painted wooden dial with Arabic on chapter ring, outer minute ring marked with ticks, bold every 5 minutes, raised gold scroll work in spandrels, wooden 30-hour weight driven works, interior printed paper label that reads Patent Clocks/Invented By/Eli Terry./Made and Sold/At/Plymouth, Connecticut,/By/Seth Thomas. with instructions, fine replaced polychrome painted tablet with country estate, mahogany case with floral scroll stenciled ebonized half columns and scrolled crest with gold fruit and flowers, flanked by mahogany plinths, claw front feet with acanthus and crosshatched knees, turned rear legs, 4.8″ x 17″ x 29.5″ high.
Condition report
Cleaned original finish, heavy retouching on central part of dial, replaced keyhole escutcheon, currently running. We do not guarantee working order of clocks.
