Seth Thomas Mahogany and Parcel Gilt Shelf Clock
Mid 19th century
The straight cornice above engaged columns flanking a painted dial, over two reverse decorated doors, labeled Seth Thomas, Plymouth Hollow Conn.. Height 32 1/2 inches, width 19 inches, depth 6 1/4 inches.
Condition report
Condition: Small veneer losses at cornice sides; probably lacking feet, as there are holes under base; rubbing and possible damp damage to gilding, which appears original.
