Brewster, Bristol, Connecticut, c. 1835-40, of “beehive” case form with floral cut glass lower tablet, 7 in. diameter wooden dial with Roman numerals and central glass aperture, green paper lined interior backboard with lower ‘reversed’ cast iron fusee block, springs and brass fusees, brass movement stamped “No. 3771”, rack and snail strike and Geneva stops, (dial enhanced; replacement hands; veneer repair and losses), ht. 19 in.
